In 1992, he was listed in the Guinness World Records as the fastest English-speaking rapper, having pronounced 598 syllables in 55 seconds. Twista gained broader attention in 1997 following his appearance on Do or Die's single "Po Pimp", which was produced by the Legendary Traxster.
