About Twigy

With a career spanning over 35 years, it is obvious that Twigy has been one of the founders and pioneers of the Japanese hip hop scene. He featured on various works in the early 90s, including "Eat & Buy & Eat" by Audio Sports, as well as his participation in the largely Reggae-based V.I.P Hits series. In 1992, Twigy formed the legendary group Microphone Pager along with DJ Muro (a.k.a. the King Of Diggin') which laid the foundation of Japanese rap and released countless Japanese hip hop classics.
