About Tullio Serafin
Tullio Serafin (1 September 1878 - 2 February 1968) was an Italian conductor. Tullio Serafin was a leading Italian opera conductor with a long career and a very broad repertoire who revived many 19th century bel canto operas by Bellini, Rossini and Donizetti to become staples of 20th century repertoire. He had an unparalleled reputation as a coach of young opera singers and famously channelled Maria Callas's temperamental talents. Born in Rottanova (Cavarzere)
