
Troubles were an experimental electronic band, dabbling in lo-fi, Eno-esque ambience, with later releases showing more instrumental post-rock influences. The band formed in 2005 as a side project of Hope of the States, from whom Sam Herlihy, Michael Eran Hibbert, Mike Siddell and Simon Jones were recruited. They were joined by artist Joel Clifford and The Open guitarist Jon Winter. The band self-released their double album, "First", in 2006.
