Trev Gibb has been playing solo on the Newcastle scene since 2005.. A solo gig in support of ‘Les Cox Sportifs’ at the historic Morden Tower in Newcastle in June of 2008, attended by members of Field Music, Maximo Park and the Futureheads resulted in some recording work with David Brewis of Field Music. Over the ensuing year and a half an album worth of material was recorded, with songs Corrina’s Nylon Strings and Say You Will featured on Tom Robinson’s BBC introducing show.
