A Woman of No Importance was an acoustic indie-pop band from Newcastle and Durham in the north east of England. The band embraces pop sensibilities but has a strong DIY ethic and a love for odd instruments and lush string arrangements. The band started out as an acoustic guitar duo - Marc on main vocals and left-hand guitar, Matt on backing vocals and right-hand guitar.
