About Torn
There are multiple artists and bands with the name Torn. 1. Torn is the alias for Ivan Karasev, a Russian dark drum and bass dj and producer signed to Samurai Music. Debuting on Samurai sister label Shiro in 2017, Torn released his first EP (Internal) for the Samurai Music label in 2018. The Internal EP sees his sculpted malaise reaching a creative peak, completing construction on a distinctive desolation he now inhabits like a second skin. Ivan’s talent is not limited to the 170bpm tempo.
