About Tookoo
Formed in 1999, Tookoo is one of the first emo bands in China, consisting of the twin brothers Li Xiaochuan (Guitar) and Li Xiaoquan (Bass), Yan Shuai (Vocals), Shiva G. (Synth/Organ) and Liu Yang (Drums). In December 2001, the band released its first underground album, Viva!Viva!Viva!. After the interview by SO ROCK magazine in January 2002, the band was also invited to perform in The 2002 MIDI Festival and The Li Jiang Snow Mountain Music Festival of Beijing in May and July.
