Toño Fernández (Miguel Hernadez Antonio Vasquez, Fernández Calle de Mira Flores, Colombia, September 24, 1912 - December 2, 1988) As a child he fell in love with the sweet sounds of the bagpipes, the bullerengue, an instrument he learned to play from his cousin Ramon Barreto. He was the director of the best pipers, the brothers Juan and Jose Lara, Mañe Mendoza, Mañe Cerpa, Tono Rodriguez, Gregory Julio et al. He toured and released Colombian folklore to countries like France
