About Tongai Moyo
Another Sungura musician who hails from the township of Kwekwe in Zimbabwe. Sungura is produced by infusing sounds from playing rhythm guitar, lead guitar, base guitar and drums. There is no computerization involved, just pure guitar work. Tongai Moyo rose to fame by perfecting Sungura music band filling in the void left by those other musicians of this genre who had passed away. Of late he has been suffering from cancer, but nevertheless he has managed to keep his music going.
