About Tomas Lipan
Tomás Lipán (born Tomás Ríos) is an Argentine singer from the small town of Purmamarca, Jujuy, in the North of Argentina. His music tends to be dedicated to his home town and to his home province of Jujuy, and is a leader of Argentine folkloric music. He has produced six albums independently: "El Canto de Purmamarca" vol. I (1985); "El Canto de Purmamarca" vol. II (1987); "...Desde Jujuy" (1994); "Amor y Albahaca" (l998); "Canto Rojo" (1999) y "Cautivo de Amor" (2002)
