About Tom Stevens
Tom Stevens (born Thomas Howard Stevens on 17 September 1956; died 24 January 2021) an American bassist, guitarist, singer, and songwriter. A solo artist once based in Los Angeles, then in Indiana, often associated with the Paisley Underground and alt-country movements, Stevens was a member of The Long Ryders, former member of Magi and Danny & Dusty. Played string bass for Gene Clark. First solo record: Points of View (1982). Later release: Sooner (2009). www.tomstevens.org
