About To The Barricades
To The Barricades formed in the autumn of 2005 in the growing town of Reading. Taking influences from the likes of Bloc Party, Joy Division, The Smiths, Explosions In The Sky and Radiohead, the piano-led atmospheric quartet set out to create music that is both contemporary and challenging. Due to music differences though the band disbanded around xmas 2008. Richard Goodspeed has gone on to study classical composition while guitarist Matt Wells has gone on to form I Am Homosapien and powerviolence group Valkillmer alongside his solo work.
