About Titi DJ
Titi Dwijayati (born May 27, 1966 in Jakarta, Indonesia), known as Titi DJ, is an Indonesian pop singer. She is also one of the judges on Indonesian Idol. Titi began singing on public television as a teenager, hoping a record company would notice. At age 17 in 1983, she represented Indonesia in the Miss World competition, but was not a finalist. Also a dancer, she performed with Guruh Soekarnoputra's Swara Mahardhikka troupe. She sang backup vocals for Chrisye and appeared in a few movies early in her career.
