About Tina and the Top Ten
Tina and the Top Ten was firstly introduced to the public as “the very first all portuguese fake american rock’n’roll band”. It was Autumn 1989 when the band played their first gigs: two nights at the lengendary Lisbon underground club Bar Oceano. What started as an art band, conceptually playing with the idea of simulacra, evolved into a consistent sonic rock act. The band released a couple of singles, participated in a few compilation but only made one full album: “Teenage Drool” (1994).
