Time and Place is a folk/punk/rock band based in Boston, MA. The band formed in Amherst, MA in 2009 as an acoustic trio (Brandon Rainville - banjo/vocals, Jack Hawkins - guitar/vocals, Meagan Day - upright bass/vocals) with a focus on unplugged, energetic live shows and earnest lyrics. They released their debut album Scarlet in January 2011, followed in December 2011 by their split EP Share the Bottle with Boston mainstay The Old Edison. In 2014 the band regrouped in Boston, plugged in, and added drummer Mike Cashin.
