About Tigs
Half Spanish and born into an eccentric, bohemian musician family, Tigs grew up in the sleepy country town of Woodchester. Inspired by the New York punk of Patti Smith and Television and the tortured poetry of Steven Jesse Bernstein, Tigs dropped out of college and started writing her poetry, and then songs. Her first single, 'And Again,' ws released on her own red-ROAR label in 2005 and was limited to 500 copies on one-sided vinyl. Produced by Dimitri Tikovoi (The Ravonettes
