Excerpt from MySpace page - Q: In 1995 TT recorded their last CD and in November of ’95 they played their last concert in Phoenix, AZ. What happened to Tierra Tejana? Lupe – We felt that it was the right time to stop. The music business became a business and it was a struggle to stay in business. We wanted to spend more time with our families. There were no arguments; it was a mutual decision in all our parts. We were tired and burned out from recording, performing and traveling for over 31 years.
