About Thin Films
Dan McRae formed Thin Films on April 3rd 2003 as a side project from "Lien" (Skool Records) to indulge in his own creative freedom without the boundaries of partnership and compromise. The material on his solo debut "Eskimo" features some of his finest works to date. Influenced from scenes of Antarctica and barren tundric wastelands of snow blizzards and Ice capped mountains, Thin Films captures a beauty in the harsh reality of life in extremes.
