About Thia Megia
Thia Megia (born Thialorei Lising Megia on January 1, 1995 in Hayward, California, US) is a Filipino-American singer and finalist in season 10 of American Idol 2011. She auditioned in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Megia is the youngest finalist to ever appear on Idol because they changed the minimum age limit to 15. Megia was born in Hayward, California and her family moved to Mountain House, California. Megia is the youngest of three children and is a home-schooled sophomore.
