About The Young Tradition
There is more than one artist with this name, including: 1) An English folk trio of the mid-1960s; 2) An American/Swedish indie-pop duo signed to Matinée Recordings in 2003. 1) The Young Tradition was an English folk trio remembered for their albums of mainly traditional British folk music, sung in arrangements for their three unaccompanied voices. The trio was apparently formed by chance when Peter Bellamy (died 1991) and Royston Wood (died 1990) met when they were camping on a mutual friend's floor
