
The Yawpers is an American three-piece rock and roll band from Denver, Colorado. Their name is derived from a Walt Whitman poem, entitled "Song of Myself": "I sound my barbaric yawp over the roofs of the world." The band plays stripped-down rock and roll, accompanied by overdriven acoustic guitars and a trap kit.
