About The Workhorse Movement
The Workhorse Movement were an eclectic metal band signed to RoadRunner Records who in 2002 released their sole album, "Sons of the Pioneers". The Workhorse Movement have been described as "fundamental metal traditionalism with a myriad of cross-generic chops", a reflection of the multitude of styles incorporated into their general old school metal sound. The band never received much commercial success during the NU-metal era and thus disbanded after the single release.
