The William Blakes are fearless. The band's four members have known each other since they were teenagers. They all play everything and they trust each other completely. Their debut album was recorded in 5 days in November 2007 and was released in Denmark in 2008 to rave reviews. They took their name from the poet William Blake (1757 - 1827) because they share his desire for a spiritual upheaval. Their songs are about religion, magic and politics, but with a strangely personal twist.
