The Wildebeests are a prominent British garage-rock "supergroup" known for their raw, high-energy beat music and signature "Dimbo beat" sound. Formed by veterans of the UK's garage and punk scenes, the band consists of: John Gibbs: Bass and vocals (formerly of The Kaisers and Holly Golightly Band). Lenny Helsing: Drums and vocals (formerly of The Thanes and Green Telescope). Russ Wilkins: Guitar and vocals (formerly of The Pop Rivets, The Milkshakes, and The Delmonas).
