About The Welfare State
The Welfare State is the name given to the solo musical project of Andy Jones, previously of Kicker - the London Indie Pop Beat Combo in which he played between 1998-2005. His output so far has been more of an experimental electronic nature, but songs in the pipeline will see a return to a more guitar based style of off-beat melodic pop.
