The Velvicks, like all the best rock and roll stories of the early 21st century can be traced back to abasement, but even further back to a kid in his bedroom with his guitar a bit further away in Brazil. With influences from Pink Floyd, Queens of The Stone Age, Foo Fighters, The Black Keys and Radiohead, the band delivers heart pounding rock that is at once familiar and distinctive. The sounds of the band members individual experiences combined with a shared passion for authentic rock and roll.
