Forming in the summer 2006, the group's three producers - James and Jonathan Kinnear and Cliff Millender - were introduced to singer Hannah Sanders, and The Ultrasonics was born. Inspired by the classic electro sounds from the 80s, The Ultrasonics set out to create a new sound mixing retro electropop with a fresh, modern twist. The band began writing and producing material for their first album
