The Tumbledryer Babies are a minimalist indie band from Southend-on-Sea, a seaside town near London, England. Originally a solo act formed in 2007, the band has since expanded to include two bass guitars, a drum machine, a stylophone and kazoos. They are known for prolific recorded output. The band have recorded a 7" with Kramer (Galaxie 500, Jeffrey Lewis) and an EP with Paul Leary (Butthole Surfers, Sublime, Meat Puppets, Daniel Johnston). They have opened for Theoretical Girl
