About The Trudy
The Trudy are a band originating from Kingston-Upon-Thames, forming after two of their members left cult experimental group Cardiacs. Their style is far slicker than that of Cardiacs, although still somewhat quirky. They have been compared on occasion to The B52s. In 2010 The Trudy contributed a track to The Leader Of The Starry Skies - A Tribute To Tim Smith - Songbook 1. The track was a cover of Cardiacs 1992 single Day Is Gone.
