About The Tree Ring
The Tree Ring is a San Diego based band under the lead of songwriter Joel P. West that works independently. They have released their first album "Generous Shadows" in February 2011, which won the category "Best Americana Album" at the 2011 San Diego Music Awards. The second album "Brushbloom" was released in October 2012. It is a coproduction with San Diego based chamber music group Camarada and funded by the San Diego Foundation's Creative Catalyst Fund, which is aimed to support selected local artists.
