About The Symposium
The Symposium are an American indie-rock band formed in 2013 in Chicago, Illinois. Current members include Charlie Gammill (vox/guitar), Sam Clancy (guitar/synth), Benny Goetz (bass), Brian Buckley (drums) with Josh Gomez standing in for Buckley for the band's concerts in 2024 and 2025. The band is influenced by and has been compared to The Strokes, Mac DeMarco and Ty Segall[artist[/artist] among others. History The band was formed by childhood friends Sam Clancy and Charlie Gammill.
