About the surf the sundried
"The Surf The Sundried" is project by multi instrumentalists Nick Huntington (Freescha, Canyon Country) and Emmett Kelly (The Cairo Gang, Charlemaignes). Though Freescha is known for their Californian brand of organic electronics, there is nary an electronic instrument to be found in these recordings. Much like the all handcrafted elements of The Surf The Sundried's cover art, they have used their hands to draw sounds from wood. Written and recorded over a period of three weeks in their home studio
