About The Sultans
There are three bands with the name The Sultans. *(John Reis band) The music is really stripped-down post-punk with a twist of rockabilly. Formed in 2000 and disbanded January 10th, 2007. Started as a side project when John Reis had time off from one of his other bands at the time, Rocket From the Crypt. They recorded two albums, 'Ghost Ship' (2000) and 'Shipwrecked' (2004) both released on Swami Records. John's little brother Dean, who is one of the coolest guys on the planet (fact and opinion) is also in the band.
