2008 is set to be a busy year for much touted Leeds’ three piece, The Sugars, with their debut album, “The Curse Of The Sugars” due to land in June. Matt Bolton (vox/guitar), Alex Lewis (drums) and Anna Greenway (vox/bass guitar) take lessons from the old records they covet, but are firmly anchored in the now, combining soul drenched harmonies, fuzz guitar and occasional blues hollering with infectiously catchy 3 minute pop songs. The diversity of their music demonstrates the breadth of The Sugars' musical ambition
