About The Sub Ensemble
The Sub Ensemble is a jazz-influenced big band made up by ex-members of The Sugar Beats Band. There's a loungey feel to everything these guys do, but thanks to an overall sensation of technical flair and proficiency the EP never sounds like the sort of fare that might melt into the background. In addition to impressive solo spots from all quarters (particularly the horns), the EP features guest appearances by vocalists Sara Colman and Leo Altarelli.
