About The Strikers
There are multiple artists using this name. 1. American early 80's disco band, signed to famous dance label Prelude Records. Members: Darryl Gibbs, Howie Young, Milton Brown, Robert Gilliom, Robert Rodriguez , Ruben Faison, and Willie Slaughter. They released a number of singles and one album before splitting up. Vocalist Ruben Faison went on to join Warp 9. 2. St. Louis, MO punk band with some ska influences. They released a 7" EP and two songs on the Test Patterns compilation LP around 1981.
