The Strange Creatures are a Philippine-based indie pop band whose influence ranges from dream-pop to ‘80s new wave, twee-pop to indie folk music. Riddled with boy-girl harmonies, jangly and ambient guitars, warm basslines and a steady backbeat. They make guitar-pop tunes that evoke pastel summers and sepia-tinged nostalgia, one which gravitates toward the emotional ends of melancholia, joy and in between.
