At least three bands have called themselves The Stingrays 1)Power-pop/punk band from the UK that formed in 1977, released a a three song EP in 1980 on Fried Egg records, a single, and a song on the Avon Calling compilation out of Bristol, UK. A live album came out some time later. Russ Mainwaring seems to have been the only constant member.
