The Spills are a band born and raised in Wakefield, West Yorkshire (England). The Spills, at first, are most easily compared to bands such as Nirvana and Nine Black Alps, as they have a fuzzy alt rock sound, whilst having a keen pop sensibility. They have evolved since their inception and have forged a sound of their own. Songs, such as "Holidays" and "Rhyme Of The Ancient Alabastard," are a testament to the fact that The Spills have an ear for great pop/rock tunes as well as the heart to play those tunes in a manner that reverberates loudly
