About Calories
Calories are a three-piece rock band from Birmingham. All three members were born in Solihull Hospital and went to school on an area of land that was left to education by Sir Alfred Bird of Birds Custard fame. They also all served in underground noise pop heroes Distophia. Calories played their first live shows in June 2008, and their debut album Adventuring (recorded in just five days after the band’s third show) was released in January 2009 via Smalltown America.
