About The Spells
The Spells was a one-off ep side-project from Mary Timony (Helium, and Autoclave} and Carrie Brownstein {Sleater-Kinney, Excuse 17} They released one ep called "The Age Of Backwards" on K Records in 1999. On the 19th of November 2008, two previously unreleased songs were put up for download on Carrie's NPR blog, Monitor Mix. A further two were available to stream for two weeks.
