The Spektors were an Australian rock 'n' roll band active in Perth from 1964-1966, chiefly noted for their drummer and part-time lead singer, Bon Scott, who later went on to great success as lead vocalist with AC/DC. The band was formed in 1964 by John Collins (vocals, drums) & Bon Scott, (drums, vocals) who at that time just played drums, along with Brian Gannon (bass guitar), Wyn Milson (guitar) and Murray Gracie (guitar, vocals). They enjoyed some local success winning the "Perth Hoadleys Battle of the Bands" competition
