About The Spektakuler
The Spektakuler is an art project-based band from Yogyakarta, Indonesia, a joint-venture between two bands: Black Ribbon and Demi Tuhan. This project ranging from visual art, performance, text and music; all are based on the spectacular, bombastic, provocative and the oddity of popular culture in Indonesia. They are using a blog to collect found images in the internet, re-writing a headline news or quotation via Twitter. Their music fuses traditional punk rock tune with noise rock in dark atmosphere.
