About The Sound Sandwich
The Sound Sandwich started in 1964 in Burbank California as a five piece combo, known then as The Chosen Few, and originally a surf music band. The band broke up in '67. The group as the Sound Sandwich was comprised of Rusty Lee Gebhardt as lead vocalist, RJS on guitar and back-up vocals, Val Tonione on keyboards, Les Hugie on drums, and Sam Ferraro on bass and back-up vocals
