The Skies We Built was an alternative rock band from Chicago, Illinois, United States. The Skies We Built was a band out of the Chicago land area that create music heavily laced with atmosphere, melody, syncopated rhythm, and share some of the same hooky pop sensibilities that bands like The Beatles or Death Cab For Cutie thrive on. They did a self-titled EP and a full length which was also self-titled released in 2006. Members: Mike Brown - Guitar/Synth/Vocals (also in Ateriavia)
