Established in 1995, The Skels were once described as “the band to see when you’re planning on getting so drunk you don’t remember your name,” New Jersey’s The Skels have played and drank their way through pubs up and down the east coast, and as far away as San Francisco, for the last twelve, going on thirteen, years. Originally formed as the house band for a tiny Irish pub in Hoboken, New Jersey, The Skels quickly gained popularity for their abrasive and rowdy style of drunken, riot-inspiring pub-rock.
