About The Shrieking Violets
The Shrieking Violets is a Manchester based band formed by Natalie Bradbury and Tristan Burke in the autumn of 2007 as a side project from their respective bands (Natalie was violinist in indie folk group Planet Earth and Tristan was frontman of experimental art band Tracy Is Hot and the Clap). After Tristan's departure in the summer of 2008, Natalie was reluctantly encouraged to keep performing as guitarist and lead vocalist, and over the next year
