About The Shitkicks
After playing in heavy and punk bands throughout high school Rob and Pickle, mates since the very early years, decided for both organisation and band politics reasons to start up a duo. The pair had been playing together for a year or so in punk band Friends Of Ron (www.myspace.com/ronsfriends), and formed The Shitkicks in early 2005. Practising in Pickle's bedroom, quietly so as not to disturb the neighbours and so as not to "dent the skins", they started out playing covers of The Black Keys, The Vasco Era and the like.
