Margaret Spread are a local Tasmanian (Australia) band. The band formed in October of 2005 as a three-piece after long time Pearl Jam fan Adam Davison started getting reasonable at playing drums and thought it would be fun to start a tribute band with newly appointed Pearl Jam fans Brendan (lead guitar) and James (vocals). The band had a few practices and ripped out the Pearl Jam classic, "Alive," every now and then, but weren't really going anywhere.
